You can add few tablespoons of water while making paste, as required. Since I am serving these pancakes with fresca salsa I am going to make it first For this I have taken chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, fresh coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, salt to taste, lime juice and I have mixed them and kept aside for flavors to mature. Now, to prepare the pancakes I am making batter for it In a mixing bowl I have added moong dal paste peas paste, added few tablespoons of chopped onion, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste and chopped green chilies I have mixed everything and added couple of tablespoons of water to make the batter of this consistency. The only thing you need to remember is add baking soda just few minutes prior to making pancake. Allow this batter to sit for 2-3 mins before making the pancakes. Now, to make pancakes I have heated a tablespoon of oil in a pan and reduce the heat to the medium. Now, I have taken a ladle full of batter and poured over the heated pan. Now, cover it with a lid and cook for two minutes on medium to slow heat. remove the lid flip the pancakes, cover again and cook for two more minutes.
